money saver/goal getter

alright this one is actually about something important, but the music I’m listening to just got me thinking about another post. ill do that one later. this post is somewhat important. I don’t know how to give advice about anything but here this is, if I could give my younger self some advice for the future it would be this, to SAVE!! start saving your money when your young also don’t waste money on a guy who never pays for anything ditch him and tell him to get a fucking job this will save you thousands. this is for anyone of any age whether your starting your life now at 27,56,72 0r 21. I am a saver, I am a planner, a perfectionist, a goal oriented person I also am very fucking much the most impatient person you will ever meet. this is my advice to you… do you want to be independent and know you have your own back? someone has to and you should be able to rely on yourself when you cant on others. here’s how to set yourself up to be consistent, confident, proud and to achieve a goal, Alyx’s style, first buy a notebook I have many for different things and reasons plus there cheap and cute, also buy some pens not pencils pencils gives you the option to erase and change things pens make that shit stick until you accomplish it and cross it off. Second, make the first page an intro about who you are, who you want to be, where you want to be and how to get there. second page is your goals, I’m impatient but I have learned to set small steps to get to the main goal trust me you will. get there. for example you want to buy a new car? what’s your budget? what’s your income? have you picked the car out yet? how much is it? and time of date you want the car by? lets say, 15,000 is your budget and you make 3,000 a month and the car is 15,000 and you want it in a year. well my plan would be to write this all down, each paycheck is around 1500 every two weeks so 750 a week, also write down what your other bills are this will determine what amount is feasible for you. can you save 500-600$ from every check ? stick it in a savings account aka car fund. 500×12 is 6,000 and 600×12 is 7,200. if you did that twice a month for a year you’d be at around 14,400. almost the whole amount for the car. if you have a down payment and want to get a loan for the other half you’d do your payments divided by how many months you want it to take you to pay it off. if your greedy and impatient or live at home pay to off while you can it also helps your credit to grow an auto loan is excellent for growing credit. do this method with any goals or bills you have. I got a car loan and wanted it paid off in a year I did my loan divided by twelve got my number and made the payments I actually paid it off in less than a year got my credit great enough for a house. another tip or life advice, say its payday and you have 200$ left in your checking, transfer that money(200) imediatly into a savings account, then deposit new check into checking, repeat every pay day whatever remaining balance is in checking transfer it over to savings for a year id bet you be amazed at how much you saved. also have you heard of the snow ball effect? don’t ask me why its called that. well do you have debts? loans? bills? no savings? here’s what you do, pay off your smallest amount owed whether its a credit card or a loan out, pay it off, say its 300$ pay the fucking 300 off all at once then every new month you free up whatever your payments would have been lets say you were making minimum 50$ payments now you just freed up 50$ a month plus the other 250$ to go to the next lowest amount owed debt, pay that one off next then you have all the extra money to go to the next one and so on till your all paid off and then you can start a savings account. also you can set up many savings accounts I have three for different goals. keeps me balanced and organized. write all this down, your notebook will be your lifeline. write out your monthly bills on a new page, also write down when they come out I use a planner write my dates down and I set up auto pay for everything just make sure you have funds to cover your ass. you will be on top pf your bills and pen top pf your ;life and feel a sense of structure. I live for this. when your young or someone starting over I hope this helps if you have any questions feel free to ask me I’m open to answer I’m a type A person for this in my life so I’m here to help you but to recap, buy a notebook make each page different goals I gave you the equation to get there, be patient, baby steps and it will happen, plus you get to say you did it all on your fucking own and you will feel so much more accomplished and strong once you get there, use this method and structure for anything, I feel like it helps keep me sane and grounded. well thats my shitty life advice about saving money having a plan and a method that works I’ve proven it.
